I did something so incredible stupid this week that I can’t even mention what it was. I just want you all to know that when you’re out and about this holiday season and you think you did or said something stupid you can just say to yourself, “Well, at least it wasn’t as stupid as that thing that Paul Hobson did.” - Because I promise you that it wasn’t. I’m stupid sometimes.

Also, my brother finally got his Xbox 360 and live account. I’m very happy about this. Looking forward to some night that are just like the old days.

Lester and I got the laminate flooring down in the nursery. With the crib set up and a new Winnie the Pooh crib set, soon all that will be left to do is wait for spunky to show up. … My body has just now starting recovering from the chemotherapy and somehow I’m becoming even hairier than I was before? … I’m also finding immense amounts of enjoyment from activities that I have never been even remotely interested in. … It’s the strangest thing. I feel like I’ve been in a coma for the past 20 years and I’m just now waking up.

My Week in 100 Words

Well, Spunky is a Spunky and not a Spunkette. Cousin Caleb is going to have a little playmate to beat up on in four months. … Had to visit the cardiologist the other day. On the new patient medical history form I had to check the ‘cancer’ box under ‘previous illness’ section. This was probably the single most depressing action I’ve taken in my life. …Why oh why aren’t vb.net collections sortable? Surely this must have been a conscience decision on someone’s part? … Halo 3 is beyond awesome. Just need my brother to come over and tackle co-op campaign.

It’s a boy!

Well, it is official. Spunky is a boy. We were so sure that we were going to have a girl… even picked out names for a girl… and now it’s boy. We are happy! Even more ultra sound photos over at flickr.
