Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are their video game reviews on your site?
As I have been successfully able to pry myself away from the television set (as of late) and explore other areas of interest, I’ve found that I really enjoy writing. The act of putting down on paper, the thoughts that roll around in your head to effectively communicate ideas or topic fascinates me. The only problem is… I am not now, nor have I ever really been, an efficient writer. The only way I know to get better at something is to do it consistently, and on top of that they say to get better at writing, you should write what you know. Well… I know and play a lot of video games, so these game reviews are actually my way of trying to become a better writer. There you have it.

About The Site:
PaulHobson.com is a virtual cauldron filled to the brim with materials that correspond to the various aspects of my life, both professional and personal. Each post could have nothing in common with the post preceding it other than the fact I find them interesting. I would like to think the motivation behind such displays would come across as education and informative and not so much narcissistic.

If anything else; this site functions as my journal. Not in the sense of, “Dear Journal, today I…” more like, “Ooh… I don’t want to forget that.” At the site’s core, it’s a platform for me to be 100% honest with myself and serve as a “catch all” for the photos and videos that I love to take (and that I’m sure you’ll love to look at). Poke around and have fun.

About Paul Hobson:
Paul Hobson is a respectable individual with a great personality; some struggles on the inside, but over all a pretty nice guy. Though I’m afraid he lacks conviction and has several mental reservations regarding his own life; but he doesn’t even know why.

Paul Hobson

He’s been accosted by a group of local self-righteous vigilantes in the name of God; they even read him a scripture or two. Not too say he doesn’t believe, but he’s not too sure who his real friends are and if they’d still be hanging around him if they every really knew just where he stands on spiritual matters.

He is primarily a logically thinking individual who likes to let his imagination run wild every chance it gets. Despite his best efforts; he can’t see to come up with a creative idea on his own.

Having great interest in the ludicrous aspects of the world he firmly believes that most people need to take a “chill-pill” and stop taking themselves so seriously. If he could, he would buy the world a Coke.

He freely confesses to (and probably should feel guilty about, but doesn’t) wanting to spend way too much of his free time playing video games; a hobby he’s had since he was a boy and doesn’t seem himself growing out of anytime soon.

Understanding that to become successful one must study the shadow of success; he quietly reserves his questions for those in the field of his interest held in high regard. In any given conversation with these individuals, you’ll hear him listening more than speaking; striving to be an objective and unconditionally valiant amanuensis… or at the very least a fly on the wall with a half decent memory.

He currently lives in Albany, NY with his beautiful wife Dana, his son Logan, and his two cats; Ashley and Chloe.
