I don’t think games come more laid back than World of Keflings. Controlling your personalized Xbox Live Avatar you get to aid the simple minded — yet thoroughly humours — Kefling population with building their Kingdom across three distinct localities.
With the game play focus placed on resource and labor management this game offers all the addictive elements of “Sim city” style games with none of the aggravation. You’re free to construct everything at your own pace, within your own design. Aside from giving up and turning off the Xbox, there is no possible way to lose the game as there is no criteria or time limit to meet — and this is Keflings blessing and curse.
I can see some players being put off by the slow pace and lack of challenges to over-come. However, if you’re looking for a break from the first person shooter hordes or maybe want to enjoy a few relaxing hours being creative and entertained, you can’t go wrong with Keflings.
