To be honest, I couldn’t care less about Weinergate. When you’re not in the public in you can tweet whatever image of whatever body part you want to whoever and I won’t have an issue with it… in fact, in some cases I’ll encourage it. But when you are in the public eye, you should keep your private parts off the interwebs as much as possible. It’s just a bad move otherwise.
However, what I find interesting is all the nonsense that the supposed “reputable” news reporters have spewed over the past couple of days rushing to the aid of the Weiner. Some the the defenses for the beloved liberal were above and beyond. Case in point, this sample from Rachel Maddow:
Since this show’s original airing, Mr. Weiner has come forward and confessed to his mis-deeds — and I for one would love to hear what Rachael has to say about it. Or course, now that he’s admitted his wrong doing, we’ll never hear about her excuses again.
Anybody else out there actually believe that the news is neutral? Granted… this is just one example, but it’s pretty extreme. I’m actually partially embarrassed for her.
