Bill Clinton: “I Can Haz Internet Facts?”

So my head is spinning a bit over Bill “it depends on your definition of the word is” Clinton crying foul over the mis-information on the . From the source:

: Create Internet agency
“That is, it would be like, I don’t know, National Public Radio or BBC or something like that, except it would have to be really independent and they would not express opinions, and their mandate would be narrowly confined to identifying relevant factual errors” he said. “And also, they would also have to have citations so that they could be checked in case they made a mistake. Somebody needs to be doing it, and maybe it’s a worthy expenditure of taxpayer money.”

I don’t know about you, but I think this is great idea! Seriously… let’s just stack this idea next to everything else government has been up to lately. If we use the current administration as a barometer, this new independent agency will stay in budget, remain transparent, cut the deficit in half, and lower the sea levels.

I wonder if facts like these would find their way past the federally appointed “blogger” monitors. I wouldn’t count on it. Thankfully technology is eons ahead of politicians. Even if they were to waste tax payer money on this agency, the information travels too fast to and from too many sources. You can’t take information off the net any more than you can take pee out of a pool. Apparently Bill thinks it will be as easy as taking a cigar out of a… well… you get the idea.
