Well, that didn’t last long. A task which I was excited to start out with earlier in the year, taking a photo everyday for all of 2011, turned out to be a life changing lesson for me. That lesson: I’m really not that into photography. I enjoy snapping images of my troops and funny stuff that’s lying around the office, but the whole “photo a day deal” I’m finding boring and annoying.
I tried to make myself stick with it. I tried making it a new years resolution so that I’d be motivated to stick with it, but the truth of the matter is I’m not really enjoying a second of it. So, if you care, I’ll still be doing what I’m affectionately calling cell phone camera dumps to photo chronicle my time throughout the year — but this daily thing just isn’t going to keep happening.
Don’t look at it as quiting — this more of a re-ordering of my online presence priorities.
