Minerva Lake – July 18th Trip

Here are some photos we took during out day get-away to Minerva lake this past Sunday. Though most of the day was spent at the beach (that’s right ladies; you missed your chance to see me in a bathing suit) we did spend the morning up at the campsite.

Great Memory Number 1: Logan, Peter and I decided to take a walk through the woods down to the lake. As we were walking through the woods Logan paused. His eyes got wide and he looked up at me in bewilderment and said, “I’m in the Jungle Room”. Imagination Mover fans will get the reference.

Great Memory Number 2: Logan decided that he was going to attempt to climb up one of the tube slides at the beach. I was standing at the base of the slide to catch him in case he fell backward. He couldn’t quite make it to the top, so he starting asking for help. As I trying to figure out a way I could be in two places at once, these two high-school girls jumped to the top of the slide with a resounding “I’ll help you buddy!”. Logan was laughing as they pulled him out of the tube, and then embarrassed at the sight of the girls. Too cute.
