This weekend must be the weekend of Time Lapse Disney videos because in the course of surfing the web I found two within about five minutes of each other. Both of them are set in The Magic Kingdom and very entertaining to watch.
First up is a 45 second video showing the night crew at The Magic Kingdom putting up the fall season decorations. I’m always interested in what goes on in the park after hours. In this video I really want to know what they were doing with Cinderella’s Castle lights. It seems throughout the night they were testing the light’s colors and intensities.
Next there is a time lapsed tilt-shifted video of the average day to day operations at The Magic Kingdom. For those who don’t know, Tilt shifting is voodoo magic that make the subjects on camera appear to minuscule. Think tiny action figures. It’s a really neat effect and it’s really cool to see hoards of stop-motion people reduced to a small size.
