In honor of me being in Walt Disney World today, (let’s see, it’s about 5 at the time of posting, so I should be enjoying a lovely Jiko steak right now.) I’m posting this a couple Disney videos that I came across last week.
The first is a infomercial about what Disney Imagineering. Nothing really new here that you may have not seen before, but it puts a dab of polish on already interesting Disney video clips.
Next up are some Disney Consumer Products videos of John Lasseter taking fans behind-the-scenes of the new Toy Story Definitive toy line. I honestly don’t know what took them so long to think of the idea that kids will want to play with Toy Story toys that they see in the movie. I’m normally a big fan of Disney marketing, but this idea should have been thought of 10 years ago.
Any lastly, I found a video of Murphy. Murphy is the name given to the new Dragon in the Fantasmic show out in Disneyland. The imagineers names her Murphy because of all the problems they had perfecting her performance. I guess that can’t even say they perfected her because apparently the “impressive” pyrotechnics that were supposed to set the stage ablaze on her maiden performance didn’t work. Hang in there Murphy, you’ll get it.

I Cannot believe you actually posted while in Disney LOL!!!!
“Murphy” looks pretty damn cool!! Once they get her working correctly they need to send her to WDW!!!

Yeah… I’m crazy like that. I even had WordPress schedule the post to appear 1/2 hour after a reservation we had at Jiko (with you guys actually) so that it would be visible at about the same time I was eating the steak. If you click the link in the post, you can even see a picture…
