When I first listened through Kevin Max’s latest release, Crashing Gates And Passing Keepers, I didn’t care for the album or this song in particular. But the more I heard the song, the more it began to grow on me, until now it’s one of my favorite recent releases. Granted, Kevin Max’s eclectic (and somewhat eccentric) music style isn’t going to suit every taste, but this song is worth at least a few listens.

I love music with a “haunting melody”, that is a melody that once listened to stays in your head until you hear it again. Songs that can do this, and not be annoying, are few and far between and this is one of those songs.
