Creating system messages for new applications is not really that fun. What makes it even worse is when Bob Saget’s voice rings in your head when you do it. “Success” is a word you write over and over again while creating system messages, and spelling it out triggers a old memory from an episode of Full House. Stephine was in a spelling be, and she was having a hard time spelling the word “Success”, and her dad Danny Tanner (as played by Bob Saget) taught her the mnemonic device: “If you double the C, and double the S, you’ll always have success!”
So now while I’m writing and checking my messages, each time I hear Bob Saget in my head, “If you double the C, and double the S, you’ll always have success.” It’s annoying. Maybe I’ll listen to some “Mmm Bop” to drown it out.
